MONDAY 3/16)
- House (FOX, 8pm): “A nursing home worker is alarmed when the home’s cat curls up next to her. It seems the cat only cuddles up to people who are going to die soon.” That’s what felines call “grooming their victims.”
- Castle (ABC, 10pm): “Castle and Beckett discover a young nanny dead inside a laundry room dryer, and their investigation leads to a dangerous world of play dates.” The pursuit for the perfect Hide-and-Seek spot can get quite nasty.
- For the Love of Ray J (VH1, 10pm): “A pool date with two contesants turns steamy.” Thanks to Jason Mesnick, I already know how this episode will end.
- CSI: Miami (CBS, 10pm): “A flight attendant’s murder reveals dirty secrets of airline travel.” Note to self: Pack own pillow and blanket for next flight.

George Clooney might be able to schedule meetings with high-ranking politicians, but he can’t save a whole network. Even though ER saw its best audience in two years, NBC only tied for third in the demos and placed fourth with the viewers last night. (The winner in both categories was CBS.)
8pm
- Survivor: Tocantins (12.9 million, 4.1/12 in 18-49) rounded up 900,000 more.
- Bones (2.8/8) returned to 9.6 million.
- Ugly Betty (7.2 million, 2.1/6) rose by 800,000.
- My Name is Earl* (4.4 million, 1.7/5) and the finale of Kath & Kim (4 million, 1.7/5) tied in the demos.
- Smallville (3.7 million, 1.6/5) added on 1.5 million.

Taylor Swift isn’t just a big concert draw, the country music sensation is a ratings hit as well. Swift’s stint on CSI helped give the CBS program a nice boost on Thursday night. Unfortunately, that other musical hit (a.k.a. American Idol) was also around to do its thing.

- American Idol (21.2 million, 7.5/20 in 18-49) picked up 500,000.
- Survivor: Tocantins (12 million, 3.8/10) slipped by 300,000.
- Ugly Betty (6.4 million, 1.7/5) gave up 400,000.
- My Name is Earl (2.2/6) returned to 5.6 million; Kath & Kim (4.2 million, 1.8/5) improved by 800,000.

Heigl, Knight Reportedly Leaving Grey’s Anatomy
Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Drama, Prime Time, ABC, Grey’s Anatomy, Rumors,
UPDATE: When asked about the departures, Shonda Rhimes said “I’m not saying what’s going to happen on the show, but that is a rumor.”
Seattle Grace may be looking to hire two new surgeons next fall.
Over the weekend, actor James Pickens confirmed what many had already speculated: T.R. Knight and Katherine Heigl will both be leaving Grey’s Anatomy. Pickens, who spoke to Us Weekly at a NAACP luncheon, said Knight’s decision to depart was simple. “He just wanted to pursue other career paths,” James explained.
And how will Pickens feel when Katherine finally works on movies full time? “Wherever Katherine goes, I wish her nothing but the best,” he claimed.
But was Dr. Richard Webber too quick to offer his well wishes?
While many believe T.R. and Katherine will eventually exit the program, many insiders assert that nothing has been made official. “There’s no way [Pickens] could know that, because nothing has been decided yet. Nothing has been written and [Heigl and Knight] are still working out what will happen next season with the network,” a source told E! Online.
Neither the network nor the actors’ reps have offered any comment on the rumors.
